San Diego is a wonderful city in the heart of Southern California. Aside from the great and sunny weather, there are many things to do and places to see. With so many options from shopping to the beach, you can be sure to find something that all your friends or family will love while visiting San Diego area!

seaport village

If you love shopping, then Seaport Village is somewhere that you should seriously consider stopping at. Since it is right on the harbor, you have a beautiful view of the ocean as you stroll around taking in the scenery. At Seaport Village, there are over 50 shops selling everything from clothes to jewelry and bookstores to art galleries, as well as more than 10 places to eat. There are even 4 fine dining restaurants right on the waterfront, if you are looking for a romantic experience with a loved one.

The Gaslamp Quarter is another location in San Diego that has a rich history. Originally, the area was known as a “red light” district that was filled with sailors, brothels, and bars. Eventually, the community cleaned it up and created the beautiful Gaslamp District that so many love today. The area is decorated in the Victorian Theme with many gas lamps erected in order to better enhance the Victorian and historical feel of the area. At the Gaslamp quarter, you can shop to your hearts content and enjoy the delicious restaurants.

There are a lot of great places to see the fireworks. Some of the best viewing spots are from Point Loma homes, Coronado Landing, Seaport Village, Shelter Island, Harbor Island, North/South Embarcadero, Liberty Station, Little Italy, and from boats on the water.
