Rock Legends The Rolling Stones are coming to PetCo Park!

April 30, 2015 By Kings Inn

When you think of classic rock and roll, one of the first bands that comes to mind is the Rolling Stones. The legendary group has been performing live since the 1960s and has captivated audiences all over the world with their unique style, catchy songs, and of course, Mick Jagger’s famous dance moves (which even prompted the hit group Maroon 5 to craft a song titled Moves Like Jagger). If you’ve never seen this popular band live, you are sure to be in for a treat as they play some of their most well loved songs while a screaming audience sings and dances along. Join in on the fun this spring when the Rolling Stones head out to Petco Park for a concert on May 24th. Make it a SoCal vacation before and after the concert and stay in a contemporary budget hotel in San Diego near Petco Park.

May 2015 marks the start of the Rolling Stones’ Zip Code Tour. Unlike many of their previous tours, the Zip Code tour will be a short stint lasting only through the end of July. Currently, the group has only booked shows in the United States and one show in Quebec, Canada, but there are rumors circulating that they may extend the tour to South America. The Rolling Stones will kick off this tour at Petco Park in San Diego, which is great news and means this show is sure to be an amazing time.

Tickets from the official event website are currently sold out, but can be found on resale sites such as StubHub. Because the show is sold out, it is recommended that you arrive at the venue early to avoid last minute traffic and to ensure that you receive a parking spot. Parking for this event can be purchased ahead of time if you want a guaranteed spot. Public transportation is also suggested as an alternative to driving, and the Metropolitan Transit System will even be adding a special trolley specifically for this event. For more information on public transportation, visit www.sdmts.com. Be safe and enjoy the show!
