Imperial Beach is the southernmost beach town in CA and is only 5 miles away from Tijuana. This is a quiet beach town, but its location to Tijuana makes it a great stomping ground if you are planning to make a day trip to the city.

In Del Mar, California there is a long stretch of beach that can be divided into three parts. Dog Beach offers a place to play volleyball games and where you can bring your canine friend! This beach however, is not the best for swimming as the water is shallow, but it does make a great place to take your small children to! The northern part of Del Mar beach, from 15th street to the River Mouth, offers good swimming, easy beach access and is great for intermediate surfers. At the south end, there is no shore but instead, you’ll find great bluffs where you can take a walk or nice jog!

If you are in San Diego during Halloween, then you need to attend the San Diego Monster Bash located at the Gaslamp Quarter and East Village in San Diego. This is a 21 and over event and the 14th Annual Dos XX’s Monster Bash and will take place on Halloween Night! If you are looking for a fun event to go to and happen to be staying close to San Diego, come out on Friday, October 31 from 6pm – 12am for some guaranteed fun!
